Mission Service Corps (MSC)

Mission Service Corps is a pathway for adults to serve as missionaries in an assigned ministry that supports evangelism and church planting efforts of the North American Mission Board (NAMB).

MSC was approved in 1977 by the Southern Baptist Convention as part of a concerted, intentional strategy to reach North America for Christ.

The placement of MSC missionaries is coordinated through the Missionary Mobilization team of NAMB.

Missionaries are self-funded. Some are funded through financial support from ministry partners. Still others are supported through individual retirement income.
