Do you have high school or college-age students who have experienced a call to vocational ministry OR are exploring a call?

DISCERN is a weekend retreat designed to help students along this exciting journey. Led by a volunteer staff of Mississippi Baptist Student Ministers, DISCERN will look at 3 areas:

1. Focus on their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart ability, personality, experience)
2. Take a biblical look at a call to ministry
3. Practical Look at ministry and the various types of ministry

There also will be a time for fellowship and team-building to help students understand the importance of encouraging one another and to know that they are not alone in this journey.

Cost:

Student Participants: $25
Ministers/Accompanying Adults: $10
(must be attending with a student)

*Cost includes 1 night lodging at Garaywa, Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, and conference materials.

This event will be held again in January 2022.
