The associate executive director – business services is responsible to the executive director-treasurer in all matters assigned with particular emphases in the areas of accounting, audits, The Baptist Record, communications, disaster relief, encampments, insurance, investments, legal issues, policy matters, personnel issues, public relations, retirement, technologies, and the management of all Convention-owned real and personal properties (Baptist Building, BSU Centers, and Camp Sites). All work in this division is of a service nature.

The Baptist Record is the official publication of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board and is responsible for communicating Baptist and world religious news, dissemination of Baptist doctrines, the creation of goodwill toward the denomination, and the promotion of the work of the Convention and Convention Board.
Central Hills Baptist Retreat is conveniently located in Kosciusko, MS. The director of the Men’s Ministry department provides direct supervision of the operations of Central Hills.
Communication Services is responsible for the development and coordination of Church Media Library activities, Mississippi Baptists in Broadcasting, Video services, MBCB graphic design work, print shop functions, web site maintenance, as well as all video and audio productions for the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board.
Computer Information Services provides technological maintenance and support for Mississippi Baptist Convention Board ministries located at the Baptist Building in Jackson, MS and Central Hills Baptist Retreat in Kosciusko, MS.
Disaster Relief is the tangible, cold cup of water, boots-on-the-ground (spiritual/physical) ministry of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board. The Disaster Relief Task Force is comprised of trained volunteers from across the entire state that are willing to respond to disasters, as called upon by the Men’s Ministry department of the MBCB.
The Financial Services Department is responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board, including the development and oversight of the Cooperative Program Budget. This department also has the responsibility for personnel services.
GARAYWA Camp and Conference Center is centrally located in Clinton, MS. Direct supervision of the operations of GARAYWA is administered by the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board’s Woman’s Missionary Union.
