Religious Volunteer Guidelines

• Religious volunteers shall be selected according to criteria agreed upon.
• Volunteers shall complete the application process as determined by the Programming Agency.
• Volunteers shall present a letter of recommendation from their pastor or congregational leader.
• Volunteers shall complete a nine (9) hour training program conducted by the Men’s Ministry Department of the MBCB.
• Volunteers shall perform duties as assigned by the chaplain.
• Volunteers shall perform under the supervision of the chaplain.
• Volunteers shall comply with the policies and procedures of the institution.
• Volunteers shall participate in regular in-service training provided by the Men’s Ministry Department of the MBCB.
• Volunteers shall report their involvement monthly on forms provided by the chaplain.
