ESL and Agriculture Outreach
Teach English as a second language in rural northern Thailand. Students will play a significant role in the overall strategy
for reaching the Northern Thai people for Christ. Ideal team members must have a desire to put their faith into action, be
flexible team members, be in good health, be comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings and be prepared to have an experience of a lifetime.
Dates 6/1/08 – 8/1/08 * 2 Males – work with an agricultural university, 2 Females – work with a local high
school* $1,000 (airfare covered by Missions Mobilization Department)
- Malaysia – Project 70002
Dalat International School ESL Summer Camp
Students will have the opportunity to teach ESL classes in the mornings and various activities in the afternoon such as
cooking, art/crafts, sports, drama/dance, music, computer, swimming and science. Training and curriculum will be provided for ESL
and activity classes. Students with abilities in leading worship are also welcome.
Dates 7/1/08 – 7/28/08 * 10 students* $700 (remaining costs covered by Missions Mobilization Department)
- Kazakhstan – Project 70003
English Camps and Evangelism
Imagine taking part of a unique mission opportunity involving students from the USA and Ukraine ministering side by side in
Kazakhstan. During the summer of 2008, students will converge on several of the larger cities in Kazakhstan to help with new
church starts in a variety of ministry projects.
Dates 6/15/08 – 8/1/08 * 4 Males (each will partner with Ukrainian student)* $1,000 (airfare covered by Missions
Mobilization Department)
- East Asia – Project 70004
Study the Chinese Language
Study Chinese, learn more about the East Asian culture, and build relationships with university students in East Asia – all
while encouraging fellow brothers and sisters in their walk. Watch and see what God may do with you as you walk with Him.
Dates 7/1/08 – 7/31/08 * 8 students* $1,000 (remaining costs covered by Missions Mobilization Department and
Collegiate Ministry Department)
