Categories II, IIA, III and IV use either the 1991 edition of The Baptist Hymnal or another hymnal. In Categories IIA, III and IV, the student will follow a music director as the congregation sings. Categories II and IIA may use the 1991 edition of The Baptist Hymnal, Simplified. In Categories III and IV, a hymn arrangement is played. In IV, a traditional (classical) selection is played from memory followed by one of three proficiencies. Call to order the Accompanying proficiency anthem at no cost.
