Wyndy is responsible for the following events:

Area Keyboard Festivals

Area Keyboard Festivals are for students in grades 1-12, no kindergarten. Students register through their piano/organ teachers and play hymns, anthems, pieces from traditional literature, and participate in profiencies in accompanying, sight reading, and modulation/transposition, according to their category of participation. State Youth Keyboard Festival

State Youth Keyboard Festival is for 10th-12th grade by invitation only from the Keyboard Festival Coordinator. These students have met criteria in the Area festivals in Category IV piano or advanced organ.

Fall Accompanist Conference

This year’s accompanist conference will have Dr. James M. “Jimbo” Stevens as clinician. Selected 10th-12th grade students will attend classes in accompanying, hymn reading, theory, etc. Non-student accompanists will attend classes pertaining to their instrument.
