Garaywa Manager’s Notes

Entering the gates of Garaywa Camp and Conference Center and seeing the gentle swaying of the lofty moss-laden trees is like being transported in the moment it takes to breathe a sigh of quiet bliss from a stress-filled existence into the peaceful presence of God’s beautiful creation. Garaywa is a year-round retreat center and summer camp ministry located in Clinton, Mississippi. It has been owned and operated by the Woman’s Missionary Union of Mississippi for 60 years. Serving approximately 7500 people a year, Garaywa provides quality Christian service and facilities for all ages. Only a few minutes from Jackson and in the city limits of Clinton, Garaywa is truly a retreat in the middle of the suburbs.
