Brief Minutes of July 14, 2005 meeting by Dale Holloway

The Mississippi Council on Bivocational Ministries met in the Baptist Building on July 14, 2005. New members present were:

• David Abbott, Laurel
• Gordon Coker, Brookhaven
• Scott Frank, Greenville
• Dave Hartson, Magnolia
• Tommy King, Columbia
• Johnny Rakestraw, Blue Springs

This council is composed of 7 AMDs, 7 MBCB staff and 12 exemplary bivo ministers. The current program focused on Time Management and shared ministry, strengthening bivo families, mentoring and training and resourcing bivo ministers. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 31, 2005. A booth at the Mississippi Baptist Convention will be coordinated by Bryan Presson, pastor of Eagle Ridge Community Baptist Church.
